Mercy Center at Madison will present New England’s largest Fair Trade event, the Fair Earth Bazaar, featuring a variety of unique, beautiful and reasonably priced jewelry, clothing, home goods, chocolates and much more.  Handcrafted by artisans in dozens of developing countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and South American, all items will be certified as Fair Trade, guaranteeing that workers enjoy fair wages and humane working conditions.   The Bazaar will also feature live entertainment and a homemade soup, bread and dessert bar.

Don't miss this fabulous event!   But why wait for the Bazaar - shop Fair Trade all year round at the Fair Earth Gift Shop at Mercy Center where you will find a wide selection of beautiful Fair Trade merchandise.

THANK YOU to all who visited the Fair Earth Bazaar in November  The event was a huge success for Mercy Center with over 2,500 people attending.  Mercy Center was able to provide over $50,000 to artisans from developing nations around the world.

Fair Trade efforts around the world link more than a million small-scale farmers and artisans with access to global markets, thereby empowering them to financially support their families and create thriving local communities.  An estimated two-thirds of Fair Trade artisans are women, often the sole wage earners for their families.
