Maria Shriver has had many roles in her life: In addition to being a sister, daughter, wife and mother, she served as First Lady of California, journalist, anchor at both CBS News and NBC News, and advocate for women and Alzheimer patients. She has a website entitled, "Maria Shriver's Sunday Paper," whose tagline, News and Views for a Meaningful Life, captures her wide-ranging interests, activities and causes. Her blog, "I've Been Thinking," offers up thoughtful spiritual posts.

Quaker author, educator, activist Parker J. Palmer, who founded the Center for Courage & Renewal, writes a blog for Onbeing.org every Wednesday. In addition to narrative posts, Palmer often includes poems by the likes of Mary Oliver, Maya Angelou, Jane Kenyon and others.
