Artists for World Peace Brings Their PEACE WALL
On display November 17 - December 18

Opening reception, Sunday, November 17th, 1-4 p.m.  Light refreshments will be served. 

The reception will also feature live music by harpist Kasha Breau, “Angel Art” by artist Lori Barker, and The Mercy by the Sea’s gift and book store will be open for holiday shopping.

Middletown based Artists for World Peace are bringing their PEACE WALL Project to the Mary C. Daly RSM Art Gallery at the Mercy by the Sea Retreat and Conference Center in Madison, Connecticut from November 17 to December 18. The “WALL” began in October 2017 and quickly became a movement: a symbol of peace, unity and hope. To date, more than 2,500 artists from 48 states in the United States, Italy, Mexico and Canada have painted a 6” x 6” canvases to be displayed on the traveling PEACE WALL. With a $50. donation any canvas can be selected from the “WALL.” All of the proceeds from the 6x6 4 PEACE Project will be used to support Artists for World Peace’s NATIVE EYES Project, bringing free eye care to thousands of Native Americans. Artists for World Peace, based in Middletown, Connecticut, is an organization of artists and activists who promote peace by feeding, housing, educating and providing healthcare to those in need, lifting communities to a place of hope throughout the world.
