Connecticut Trails Day
Please park in the front parking lot and meet in the front lobby of the main building.
Join program associate, Claire Rusowicz, and Everyone Outside naturalist, Lucy Meigs for a wander around our beautiful grounds. We will take the time to appreciate some of the unique old trees such as the large weeping beech in front of the main building. Lucy will share fascinating information about trees including ecology, identification and uses by Native Americans and others. Light refreshments will be provided after the walk. Suitable for older children and adults. This event is being held as part of the Connecticut Forest and Park Association's 2017 Trails Day Event, held all over the state.
