Opening Reception for "Mercy and Compassion"

The works in this exhibit, by Helen David Brancato, IHM, will be culturally diverse and perhaps challenging considering today’s political climate. Sister Helen attempts to bring the depth of her insight into the pain, the strength and the dignity of her subjects. She draws inspiration from women, scripture. music and experiences she has had in many different locations across the world. “No matter what I have titled each painting," she says, "I invite you to bring your own meaning and life experiences to these images."
