Monthly Centering Prayer Circle

Lyons Chapel

Centering Prayer comes from a rich Christian contemplative tradition. It is a method of entering Silence in order to "be still and know" God. Mercy

Our monthly Centering Prayer circles consist of a  20 minute period of Centering Prayer, a brief meditative walk, a contemplative practice, silence and contemplative conversation. All are welcome.

No registration is required. Free will donations for these sessions are appreciated. No prior experience with Centering Prayer is required. However, a simple 15-minute introduction to Centering Prayer is available before each session for those who have had no experience.  Please contact Anne Simpkinson to make arrangements (203.245.0401 ext. 128 or asimpkinson@mercybythesea.org).
