From New York

Take either the Amtrak train or Metro North to New Haven.

In New Haven, you can either take a taxi from the station or take the Shoreline East train to Madison where you can also take a cab from the station to the Center. Cabs are available outside the New Haven train station; Uber also operates in New Haven. If you are taking Shoreline East to either Guilford or Madison, one taxi service is Shoreline Taxi: 203-506-TAXI (8294).

From Boston

Take Amtrak to the Old Saybrook train station. Then take the Shoreline East train to Madison or Guilford where you can get a cab at the station to the Center.
