Ways to Give

This is not the age of information.
This is not the age of information.
Forget the news,
and the radio,
And the blurred screen.
This is the time of loaves and fishes.
People are hungry,
And one good word is bread for a thousand.
Poet David Whyte

Today people are hungry.  And Mercy by the Sea provides a space apart where the soul can be fed.  Long Island Sound, the grounds, programs and retreats all relax the body, clear the mind and refresh the spirit. How important to this and future generations that a space apart be preserved so that good words can be heard!

The Sisters of Mercy are committed to this land and to the Mercy by the Sea ministry for years to come, but we can’t do it alone.  We need your support to continue the work. We look to you for help with distributing “the loaves and fishes.”

This support can come in many different ways.  You can make a one-time donation or planned giving.  You can purchase gift certificates for those you love and with whom you want to share Mercy the Sea.  They make spirit-filled holiday and birthday gifts as well as gestures of generosity and love just because...

You can also volunteer your time at our reception desk, bookstore or with the Master Gardeners, who care for our many beautiful gardens.

Whatever form your support takes, we thank you.
