Mercy by the Sea is a retreat and conference center in Madison, Connecticut. Located on the shores of the Long Island Sound and surrounded by natural beauty, its setting supports contemplation, reflection, connection with Earth and holistic growth and experience.

Housekeeping Coordinator

Mercy by the Sea is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator, responsible for the daily operations of the housekeeping team by coordinating cleaning assignments, maintaining records, ordering, while actively performing housekeeping and cleaning duties as part of the role. This is a part-time position (25-30) hours-a-week, the individual needs to be able to work a flexible schedule.

Part-Time Culinary Team Member

Mercy by the Sea Retreat and Conference Center in Madison, Connecticut is seeking a retired or semi-retired culinary professional to join our kitchen team for 25–30 hours per week.

This is a unique opportunity to step away from the fast pace and demands of a traditional restaurant kitchen. You'll prepare nourishing meals for guests in a beautiful shoreline setting where hospitality is part of our mission. You'll enjoy a supportive team and the satisfaction of using your talents to serve others.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has professional culinary or food service experience
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative, mission-driven environment
  • Takes pride in preparing quality meals with care and consistency
