Peggy Cummins is a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur currently living in Somerville, MA. Her passion for God is the driving force in her life. She has her MA in Pastoral Ministry from Fairfield University and is a spiritual director and retreat presenter. Along with doing individual spiritual direction, she gives guided days of prayer and workshops with various themes such as Eastern Spiritualty, Breathing Under Water- 12 step Spirituality; Meeting Jesus in Our Daily Lives; Fear-St. Francis and the Wolf and The Heartbeat of God. She believes that Spiritual Direction is an awesome endeavor immersed in Mystery. Together, director and directee uncover, notice, and nourish the Divine within our deepest Selves and in all creation. |

Rev. Laura Fitzpatrick-Nager

Rev. Laura is a spiritual director, writer and ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. She enjoys walking alongside others on the meandering and wild path that is spiritual life- whatever shape that journey may take. The wisdom of Rumi is near and dear to her heart, “Be a lamp, or a lifeboat, or a ladder. Help someone’s soul heal. Walk out of your house like a shepherd.” Laura is senior associate minister at the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme and lives with her family in Old Lyme, CT. She is also the author of the memoir, Swimming on my Wedding Day: My Cancer Journey through the Seasons. |

Mary MacGillivray, CSJA

Mary received her Master’s degree in Theology from Immaculate Conception Seminary, Long Island, NY. Following retirement after thirty-three years of teaching High School Theology, she is now a part time Chaplain at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Brighton, Mass. She is currently a member of St Ignatius Parish, Newton, Ma where she did the 19th annotation. This experience, as well as being companioned by a Spiritual Director strongly influenced Mary’s call to become a Spiritual Director. She received her certificate in Spiritual Direction through the Spiritual Direction Internship Initiative with the Sisters of St. Joseph, Brighton, Ma. Mary has also been directing retreats and works with two other Spiritual Directors giving retreats in Ipswich, Ma. She understands spiritual direction as a way of helping people listen to their heart. Mary believes we are all on an inward journey with Christ as our companion and enjoys working with others on their journey. |

Dawn McCaffrey

Dawn McCaffrey is a certified spiritual director who offers a welcoming space for those seeking a deeper relationship with God. Grounded in Ignatian spirituality and licensed as a massage therapist, she integrates body, mind, and spirit in her ministry. She holds a Masters degree in Religion and Spirituality from Fordham University, a certification in spiritual direction from Fairfield University’s Murphy Center for Ignatian Spirituality, and a certification in leading retreatants through the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius through the Sisters of St. Joseph. In addition to her work at Fairfield University, Dawn offers spiritual direction both in person and online. Her education, life experience, and compassionate presence help her meet others wherever they are on their journey. At the heart of her ministry is a deep belief in St. Augustine’s words: “Our hearts are restless until they rest in God.” |

Tren Meyers M.Div., BCC has served for many years as a spiritual director and retreat leader. His background includes interfaith chaplaincy in hospice, hospital, grief, campus ministry and congregations as well as social work experience. Tren has a deep love and training in contemplative spirituality expressed in various traditions & considers spiritual accompaniment a sacred honor where the Divine is encountered not only in the obvious places but also in the paradox, the messy and least likely experiences. He enjoys nature, silence, ritual, deep friendship, the arts, humor and married life. |
