About this offering
This introductory Enneagram program will provide participants with knowledge of, and insights to, an ancient system of nine personality types, informed over centuries by philosophy, theology and psychology. In exploring the Enneagram structure and each of its personality types and “wings,” we will invite opportunities for increased self-compassion and empathy, spiritual growth, accessing gifts; all pathways for growth for self and inter-personal relationships.
Our individual and collective explorations will be aimed at deriving a better understanding and appreciation of our inner landscape and more effective relationships with others who may not look at or deal with life as we do. As we witness, contemplate and gain insight into our own and others’ ways of viewing and moving in the world, we aim to find increased capacity for living into our own fullness and adapting to people and circumstances around us.
The day program will include an overview of the Enneagram’s history, structure and purposes; exploring the core motivations, strengths and challenges of each type and their personality patterns. It is intended to introduce participants to specific ways to use the Enneagram in support of life, communications, inter-personal relationships, leadership approaches and opportunities for self-awareness.
This program is for participants of all faith traditions, as well as those who may not have a faith affiliation. No prior knowledge is required. This day-program is relevant for anyone curious about personality frameworks, individuals seeking personal insight and growth, as well as new inter-personal approaches.
