​About this offering

This Virtual Professional Enrichment Session for Spiritual Directors provides a space for spiritual directors to gather for fellowship, formation, and personal reflection guided by Karen Doyle, SSJ. During the session we will focus on listening to and directing the prayer of another. 

We will cover such topics as:

  • Fostering the Contemplative / Evocative Approach
  • Centrality of Religious Experience:  Tell me a story about Jesus

 Focused on professional development and fostering fellowship among spiritual directors the session will offer input from Karen Doyle, SSJ, conversation among participants, and the opportunity for communal prayer and reflection.

Please note this session will cover some of the same topics as the in-person Enrichment Day on Saturday, October 10.

Karen M. Doyle SSJ, D. Min is a Sister of St. Joseph of Philadelphia,  She has been enjoying the ministry of spiritual direction, supervision, formation of spiritual directors, retreat ministry and Ignatian Spirituality for over thirty years.  She has ministered to spiritual directors in the United States, Canada, Philippines, Denmark and Taiwan.
