Dear Friends,
The daffodils and forsythia are erupting and all is greening, speaking the message and invitation of the Easter season we now live into. The Triduum we just completed took us on a heart-stretching pilgrimage that required us to hold the very real grief of death, with the astonishing promise of rebirth.
It is that promise that I sit with as we look to the future unfolding at Mercy by the Sea: the women religious who just completed the seven-week sabbatical, the participants that came for the Triduum, the daily requests for retreat time, the amazing program offerings that fill so quickly, and the wonderful staff that make it all happen. These things fill me with hope and delight. The land is bursting forth. Christ has risen. We are in our greening time.
Thank you for walking with us, and a blessed Easter season to each of you.
