"Immigrant Journals" Exhibit Opens

“Immigrant Journals,” an art exhibit created by New Haven resident Mary Lesser, consists of two series of images. The first portrays people from different parts of the world, who have come to our country to realize the American dream. The second represents refugees and displaced persons who are still seeking safety and sanctuary. These images depict mostly women and children from war-torn areas of the world. The exhibit will be on display until May 21. The gallery is open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All are welcome.
